Temple Reef GT Explorer 80-10 Pathfinder Fishing Rod

The 80-10 Pathfinder is part of a series of GT fishing rods designed for working poppers effectively.  The GT Explorer Series are a high modulus carbon rods, they are ultra-lightweight that will allow anglers to cast all day. This model is most suitable for users who prefer stiffer rods for working poppers effectively.

The Pathfinder is best suited for casting long barrier reefs. This rod is optimised to cast lures long and accurately which is the most important aspect when casting along barrier reefs and boat needs to be at a distance away from the reef for safety reasons; lures need to land in the white-water zone at the edge of the reefs where GT’s prey for disoriented baitfish.

The GT Explorer range are equipped with Temple Reef’s proprietary X-Grip which will allow ease of removal of the butt joint and Fuji’s new double lock nut system “Back Stop Mechanism” to ensure reels never come loose from constant casting.  Also featured in all GT Explorer is the Knot-Less guide train system designed to minimise tip wrap which is very common in windy conditions.
